    • Fixed rate loans
    • Adjustable rate mortgages.
    Fixed Rate Loans:
    In fixed rate mortagge buyer gets an advantage of having fixed interest rate for the time of his mortgage which can range from 10 yrs to a max of 30yrs time period but it is advisable only if the interest rates for them are lower when you are opting for that mortgage and are also willing to be in that house for a minimum period of upto 5yrs.

    Adjustable Rate Motgage
    In adjustable rate mortgages the rate of interest are variable for the period of the loan and there are different mortgages available in market for this category.Some of these adjustasble rate mortgages offer fixed interest rates also but for a limited time period during the mortgage,like for the first few years after which the interest rate may get adjusted depending on different indexes.Such type of loans can be advantegeous if the buyer is confident of having a pay increase in future.Hence it is always beneficial if the buyer gets all the required details of the mortgage in market before jumping for the one.

    How much will my closing costs be?
    Closing cost varies from area to area from one country to another and hence the customer has to find out which are the customary costs that he has to pay since they are different in different location.In some areas the buyer has to pay for the title insurance of the home while in other areas the seller pays for it and at some place it is shared by both the buyer and the seller and hence to reduce any further confusion regarding the customary costs it is advisable to know it earlier.You can consult the agents in your areas to get the information on which items it is customary to make the payment by the buyer as also he should find out about the points which has to be paid with the mortgage loan as these payments have to be made up-front since the closing costs depends on these.
